Carbon
Emission Plan

Impro’s carbon emission reduction plan follows Science Based Targeting initiative (SBTi) standards, leading our sector toward ambitious but achievable net-zero targets. We hold ourselves accountable to near and long term goals for GHG emission reduction across all facets of production, logistics, and employee commuting.

Impro’s well-resourced R&D department designs and develops its own line of biodegradable, low-carbon hand protection. Certified to Global Recycled Standards, these products are low-cost and durable, offering our clients viable sustainable alternatives for any application.

Wastewater
Treatment

All by-products of our manufacturing processes undergo extensive treatment. Wastewater is screened, chemically treated, and processed, breaking down all potentially harmful contaminants long before there is any risk of exposure to people, plants, or animals.

DMF Recycling
System

In addition to our wastewater treatment processes, Impro utilises an innovative Dimethyl Formamide (DMF) Recycling System. This prevents even trace amounts of the toxic chemical from being reintroduced into the environment. All DMF captured is either neutralized or reprocessed for manufacturing use.

VOC Recycling
System

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are a gaseous chemical by-product common in fuels, paints, and solvents. Once released, they can persist for long periods of time in the atmosphere. Impro aims to reverse this environmental issue through our VOC Recycling System. We capture VOCs released in our factories and store them for reuse, preventing air pollution.

Impro is proudly accredited by Sedex, an independent authority on corporate supply chain human rights and environmental due diligence. We lead our industry in ethical and sustainable practices and, with Sedex’s support, we follow clear, achievable objectives for the continuous improvement of our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.
